Mumbai Indians - A Balanced Team

This victorious team, which also has the accomplishment of most IPL titles won is not only achieved by the captain himself, but there are also different other people whose work has given them this title. And this team bears the name of “Mumbai Indians” or as commonly said “MI.” The team with immense struggle reached the final for 6 times, and won 5 times out of it. This is not an easy task to win 5 Finals out of 6. They were able to achieve it due to the balance of batsmen, bowlers, all-rounders and good fielders over all.

Mumbai is the city, where Bollywood flourishes immensely. Actors and actresses are considered forms of god there (sarcasm). The city might be rich from the exterior but the interior is weak and poor. Tremendous numbers of slums are found. Unhygienic places are common. People will avoid their basic necessities for their entertainment. And the entertainment includes IPL. The people are affectionate towards the team and thereby try to support them by every possible way. Some even pay their respect by showing the Mumbai Indians Logo Drawing. As they have confidence in their team, and it is achieved by the brilliance of the team. 

It is done by having good batsmen like the skipper Rohit Sharma, Chris Lynn, Quinto De Cock, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Saurabh Tiwary, Kieron Pollard play passively as well as aggressively when needed. This has given the team a stronghold between the wickets. Though Mumbai Indians don't take many young and new players into their team, they take old and experienced players which is the reason they are able to win the tournaments.

In the bowling criteria as well, Mumbai Indians is nowhere short, they have got good bowlers like Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah, Rahul Chahar, Dhawal Kulkarni who steal up the wickets from the batsmen without their knowledge. 

There is also a proper allocation of all-rounders like James Neesham, Arjun Tendulkar, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya which allows the team to go further and dig out the trophy out of the rest 7 teams.

Holi and current generation of India

Who can forget the festival of Holi which holds such significance in the life of all Indians, it has brought in the faith over gods in all the people who didn’t believe it. It makes us feel that god exists and that is why we exist. These are all the reasons why we celebrate Holi in India. 

But to be honest, the festival of Holi is not the same as it used to. It has lost the significance of the importance of god in the souls of people. It has now become a source of fun and entertainment for children and income for grown ups as children demand water guns, colours etc. to celebrate the festival. Employees in companies celebrate this festival only to get bonuses from the company. Nowadays, parents don’t take the effort to explain to their kids the reason why we are celebrating the festival, this makes the child unknown of the religious significance of the event and thus he also can’t explain it to his future generations. Not only these, but there is also a large use in the number of artificial colours which may prove quite harmful to the skin and also may pave the way to skin cancers. Now all normal people can’t check by themselves if the colour is harmful or not so it is always a risk factor. So, buying colours from unknown sources should be avoided. 

Not only about colours but as well as there is a lot of water wastage due to celebrating this festival. Children often do not care about the amount of water being consumed and thus make way for water wastage; this needs to be avoided. I am not against celebrating the festival but on the side of celebrating this festival carefully with precautions.
