India is a country where there is a large fan base for a sport known by the term ‘Cricket.’ It is widely played among all the areas in India. Cricket was brought here by the British, who ruled India for more than 200 years. They have mostly ruined the economy of India, harassed the cottage industry and they have done only a few things for the progress of the country. In which, one includes the introduction of Cricket in the country.
Cricket had evolved and had become so popular that India made its own league known by the name “Indian Premier League” (shortly called IPL.) In this league, various cricketers across the globe participate to win the glorious trophy of IPL. At the current stage, there are 8 teams named after the various places in India, namely: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings 11 Punjab, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals and Sun Risers Hyderabad.
Write your favourite team out of all the above mentioned, in the comments section down below. Talking about my personal opinion, my favourite team is Kolkata Knight Riders (abbreviated as KKR.) The team is currently owned by famous Bollywood actor called “Shahrukh Khan.” The captaincy of last year was partially held by Dinesh Karthik and partially held by Eoin Morgan. So, there are high chances that this year of IPL 2021 will also be captained by Eoin Morgan. He is a smart captain, capable of playing big shots and scoring quick runs. All of the KKR captains were good, capable and smart but no one could match the capability level of one and only Gautam Gambhir who is the reason for the 2 winning leagues of KKR. Hopefully, Eoin Morgan will carry the good work done by Gautam Gambhir and lead KKR to victory. “Korbo Ladbo Jitbo Re… Karbo Ladbo Jitbo Re…”
